Social Obligation

Social obligation/responsibility is an ethical ideology or theory that an entity, be it an organization or individual, has an obligation to act to benefit society at large. This responsibility can be passive, by avoiding engaging in socially harmful acts, or active, by performing activities that directly advance social goals.

  • Blood Donation Camp
  • A Blood Donation Camp is organized in the college every year in the month of August to show a sense of deep love & gratitude for our fellowmen & our motherland.A good number of blood donors come forward to be a part of this noble cause. The donors are given light refreshment on the day of Blood Donation. All the Blood Donors are also given donor certificates later on to motivate them for such social welfare activities.

    A SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION is also organized on the occasion.

    The college fraternity is being motivated by the following thought-

    "We, Humans, are the god’s best CREATIONS, So, if your sense of patriotism DEEPENS; Do Come Forward & Donate Your Blood, As it’s our duty to respond when our motherland BECKONS!!"

  • Plantation Day
  • MECRC celebrates Plantation Day every year as a social responsibility under the direction of Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Bhansali (Director, MECRC). All the colleges of Marwar Group-MECRC, MIT, Marwar Pharmacy College, Marwar B.Ed. College & Polytechnic College-participate in this noble cause with enthusiasm. All the faculty members as well as the students of all the colleges celebrate this occasion with immense zeal & fervour.

    The members of Marwar Group who gather to plant the saplings take a solemn pledge that they will take care of the young saplings and will also support the management in keeping the entire ambience green & pollution-free.

    Go green is the mantra!
